City of Arcades has announced the line-up of live music and entertainment for City of Arcades Day.
On Saturday 16th November, Cardiff’s historic arcades and independent stores will be coming together to celebrate the first City of Arcades Day with special offers, events and activities.
As part of the celebration, shoppers can enjoy live music and entertainment across Cardiff’s seven historic arcades throughout the day and into the evening.
FOR Cardiff has worked with Welsh label PYST to curate a line-up of local musicians that will be playing live in the arcades throughout the day. Many musicians will be performing in both English and Welsh.
The oldest record shop in the world, Spillers Records will be putting on a line-up of live music and DJ sets in Morgan Arcade from 5pm and Gentilieza, a community art space located in Polarity Coffee in Duke Street Arcade have also organised live entertainment.
As well as live music, there will be entertainment from Sparklettes, Cardiff’s premier hula hoop performers.
